Maximum Ride is a book series created by James Patterson ( famous thriller author and a few juveniles series). The series is centered around 6 children between 6 and 14 years, something ... special. First because they have wings ... second because they are cynical, sarcastic, tortured and twisted ... we are a delight to kids!
If you're looking for a juvenile science fiction book that makes you laugh even in the bad moments (believe me, when gut one of the children is a bad time) and wrap you that way! ( Thank you for this wonderful entry Barns , the capo sei your ! ) Well, Maximum Ride can be what you're looking for.

And it could leave him here, of course. However, after reading Trilogy and realize that the rest of the protagonists of the books are ultimately indescribably interesting little ( and for the record, I talk about what they are dull the players, I'm not talking for any of these books ) this girl is pretty REFRESHING because ... who does not want to be like Max? (Or eat at Max, some have mixed feelings xDD!). Has its own voice, character, and is a person, cool to death (no Auto-Mode Extermination ).

Max is the leader, the 'alpha girl'. The maximum expression of its potential as a Human Bird xDD. Nah, seriously, just a normal girl, with wings, which grew for 10 years in a laboratory under unspeakable torture (seriously, do not describe them at all xDD) and then was trained as a 'mini-soldier' \u200b\u200band abandoned your luck with 5 other children in care ... ah, and is an 'error' of the laboratory that can not wait to be eliminated. As Max says itself " Basically, I have two speeds ... Hostile or Nerd, you choose. "
Well, this is Max, and this is the band.

One of my favorite (oh yeah, oh yeah, like others I like less xDD) is Iggy. The third age (and one in which most supports my conspiracy theory, just wait and see.) Human Bird first three have 14 years. But the three are so high and physically trained and do not appear at all. Iggy is a good cook, crazy skirts and the most tortured of all Flock. He was left blind in one experiment as a child. However, has not lost his sense of humor, plus all your guys support him 100%. Excerpt:

His best friend is Iggy and always getting into trouble walking together. Believe me, really. Flying a tank with a homemade bomb as a detonator that has a Mickey Mouse alarm clock is a mess.
